Protectors Cover

I created a book cover for a book I am currently writing called the protectors. First I gathered these photos.

The first photo I edited was the one with the wolves. I selected the moon and wolves. I cut them and then pasted them into the photo with face in the stars. I played with the transparency. Eventually I decided it would be better if both were transparent. However, this created an issue because then you could see Photoshop's checkered background. To solve this I found a new photo (below) to place as a back drop for the photo. I played with the transparency to get the merged image you see below.

Then I did the prison with the skull. I used the spot healing brush to get ride of the graffiti on the walls. I selected the skull and used the transform tool and shift key to enlarge the skill. Next I blurred it using Iris Blur.

I went to the window photo and used the burn tool to darken it. After that I cut and pasted into the skull photo.

Lastly, I did the photo of the warrior on the moon. I smudged the smaller version of the girl's body. Then I used a filter. Lastly, I used the dodge tool to brighten certain areas, like her cape and the buildings.

I then went to Illustrator to arrange it. However, I could not fit everything in.

Therefore, I switched to Photoshop. There I used the smudge tool to smudge the window into the path of the blur in the skull photo. I added in a purple rectangle and placed the merged photo in the middle.
Next, I went back to Illustrator to add in the title.
